Hand crafted Sterling silver and Aluminium earrings
These earrings are made with a hand dyed/printed aluminium and sterling silver hook ear wires. A hand pierced heart shape hand painted in shades of dark duck egg blue with a flower and leaf print hangs below a small lime green disc.
Size- approximate overall drop is 4.5 cm. The width of the heart is 2 cm.
All my aluminium jewellery is created from small panels of hand printed and dyed aluminium. The process can be pretty random, building up layers of pattern in various colours before dip dying and adding dyes to the panel using a brush. Once steam sealed to prevent fading I then select areas of each panel to use in my designs.
