Hello and welcome.
Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside close to Nantwich is my wonderful creative workshop space. To the vast majority who visit is it known as 'Cheshire School of Jewellery'. I use the space mainly to teach jewellery making courses and workshops full-time throughout the week and at weekends. The rest of the time it is my happy place and work space where my nearest neighbours are ducks and geese.
All jewellery on sale at The Cheshire Jewellery Company has been individually hand crafted by myself. I am a fully qualified silver smith and teacher and my current range of jewellery combines elements of hand dyed and printed aluminium with sterling silver components. Each aluminium panel is unique due to the printing and dying process therefore each piece of aluminium jewellery is a one off. I start with a blank canvas of pre anodised aluminium and then apply colour to the panels. The results can be a bit random, which I love as the colours blend and blend into each other and no two are the same. The colour is then permanently sealed and some are also engraved with botanical designs. I then select areas of the panels to make into jewellery, layering or combining the different coloured elements.
If you are interested in silver smithing and learning how to make your own jewellery head to www.cheshireschoolofjewellery.co.uk where I offer a range of jewellery making courses and workshops.
Thank you
